Apex Professional University (APU) is a statutory university established by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh vide Act 07 of the year 2013 and approved by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, New Delhi u/s 2(f) of UGC Act, 1956 as State Private University.

APU is located at the eastern foothills of the divine Himalayas, in Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh that is spiritually vibrant, naturally serene and peaceful.
